Despite the angry sounding name, Grumps Burgers never fails to delight us with their terrific cheese burgers, so it wasn’t a hard choice on where to eat on our way to watch the Cleburne Railroaders, a new professional baseball team in the American Association (not a minor-league team).

While standing in line to order, my kids grabbed the table in the corner!

The Granbury location is the original,  and has a big outdoor patio, so naturally it’s my favorite.  It’s also dog-friendly, and we take our new little pup with us almost everywhere!

Last year they also opened a Wiffle Ball field, which is open to the public and has bats, balls, etc.  You can also reserve it for parties, how fun is that?!

The Burleson location has an outdoor patio on the 2nd floor, and is located in Downtown Burleson, which makes for a nice place to take a stroll after dinner!

At the Cleburne location, we munched on the complementary peanuts while we waited for our food.  How long was the wait, well, we didn’t finish one hand of Uno.  Isn’t that how every restaurant review ranks speediness?

The cheeseburgers were delicious, and disappeared before I had a chance to take a picture.  My oldest son and I both got the jalapeno bacon cheeseburger, and really, the jalapeno bacon is AMAZING!

My oldest just wanted to eat!

In addition to selling Blue Bell Ice Cream, Grumps also sells Dublin Bottling Works Soda, which when added together make an incredible ice cream float!
