Grumps Burgers has been around since 2002, serving the best burgers in Granbury, Texas and the most delicious burgers you’ve ever wrapped your lips around. They’ve acquired quite a reputation as evidenced by their numerous awards and recognitions. The atmosphere is casual with an emphasis on “family friendly.” Peanuts await their visitors at every table, service is friendly, beer is cold. What more can you ask for?

How Do They Do It?
Grumps sources the freshest beef on the market, never frozen. The meat patties are hand cut, hand trimmed, and hand pressed (takes more time, but it’s worth it). They cook a “traditional Texas burger,” 1/3 lb. patty of thick real beef. The standard “build” is on a Mrs. Baird’s bun served up with mustard, pickle, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. The veggies are shopped weekly and delivered 2x’s per week. The freshness of the burgers, along with the secret seasoning blend, has satisfied Texans and its neighbors for years.

If you’re looking to stray from the “standard” burger, these crowd pleasers have been around awhile too. The Bacon Cheeseburger is the #1 variation with the Queso Burger (as seen on TV’s The Bucket List), being the messiest – you’ll need a knife & fork! They also offer, and some people swear by it, the Guacamole Burger (fresh & homemade), Chili Cheeseburger (dang good chili), and the Swiss Mushroom Burger. Not in the mood for a burger? They also have a simple, but terrific, Patty Melt, the best Grilled Chicken Sandwich around, and a BLT that uses their spicy Jalapeno Bacon (feedin’ the pigs jalapenos does the trick). All of the burgers & sandwiches can be served on a Jalapeno Bun, or for you healthy folks, they offer a Wheat Bun option.

Lastly but not leastly, they do offer a couple of salads that can quench your taste buds and still keep you fit. The Grilled Chicken Salad is the same chicken that is served on the sandwiches and the Southwestern Salad uses their high quality beef. Both salads are served with a side order of their fresh-made chips. They offer Grumps’ own “dippin’ sauces” called Homemade Ranch dressing AND their award-winning Homemade Jalapeno Ketchup.

Kiddos have a menu as well (small burger choice, chicken strips, grilled cheese) and they’re proud to offer Blue Bell Ice Cream and fresh baked cookies for dessert (combine the two and you’ve got yourself one heck’uv’a dessert!)

Their stores offer quality food (sometimes it may take a while, but they hope it’s worth it) that’s reasonably priced. They pride themselves on friendly service, family first atmosphere, the “coldest beer in Texas,” and award winning food. Go see ‘um, they’d love to earn your business!
